Kevin’s aptitude for, and early interest in, computing technology set the wheels in motion for the eventual creation of TOKN, co-founding the company in 2016. His favourite ways to spend time? With his family and tinkering with new ideas.
Tell us about your strongest memories of computers and coding.
A mate and I used to spend large portions of school holidays just playing computer games and that is where it all started for me. During Uni days where we were learning the ropes about development is a strong memory of coding and innovating.
What’s been the most important innovation you have witnessed in your lifetime?
The creation of the personal computer which is the building block for all things I.T that we see today.
How do you define success?
Setting a realistic goal and then actually reaching it.
Something that you might not guess about me is…
I have never been inebriated and never plan to be. “If I had the power to instantly change one thing about the world, it would be the amount of damage we are doing to our planet through pollution.”
The part that I find most rewarding/exciting about my job is…
This is a 2 pronged answer. Seeing our startup get some traction is very exciting. Coming up with I.T solutions to problems and coding them is very rewarding for me.
